Challenging HIV Stigma: Story & Poetry Reading

Hear the stories and poetry of people affected by HIV as they read from their forthcoming literary collection. The book, which will be published in late autumn, reshapes the narrative of HIV, painting a picture of HIV in Scotland today and moving beyond the grim, looming image of the AIDS tombstone imagery of the 80s. With Art Historian Catherine Spencer (University of St Andrews), we will dip into some of the instructional pieces by Lozano and her peers, whose work appeared alongside hers in experimental magazines and exhibitions of the 1960s and 1970s.
