Two poets will read from their new pamphlet collections, published by Edinburgh’s Mariscat Press:

Edinburgh-based Kate Hendry reads from MX SIMP – a powerful sequence charting her treatment for breast cancer [the title is the surgeon’s abbreviation for simple mastectomy, written with marker pen on her breast].

Charlotte Gann, from Lewes in Sussex, reads from Cargo – a many-layered collection of poems about the freight we all carry, whether emotional, familial or historical, delivered with compassion, humour and grace.

There will also be music from Edinburgh band, The Self Righteous Brothers.
