Join us for the premiere of a new solo dance work by Eve Mutso, commissioned by The Fruitmarket Gallery.
For this new commission Eve has been researching and training in aerial movement with Mark Gibson at Aerial Edge in Glasgow, and has choreographed a piece in which – influenced by the specific context of the Fruitmarket – she will spin from the beams of the Fruitmarket with her pointe shoes dipped in pigment left over from a previous Fruitmarket exhibition to leave traces of her movement in lines on the floor. The piece is accompanied by a soundscape by Merlin Bonning.
