Each Thursday evening during Edinburgh Art Festival there are tours of the Festival programme with artist performances and talks, workshops and live music. Art Late is a chance to experience the varied programme by night.
The second Art Late will commence with two visits to EAF Commissions Programme: Shilpa Gupta’s For, in your tongue I cannot hide: 100 Jailed Poets at Edinburgh College of Art’s venue The Fire Station and Adam Lewis Jacob’s No Easy Answers at Institut Français d’Écosse.
These will be followed by a visit to Stills: Centre for Photography to see their festival exhibition The days never seem the same: Gunnie Moberg and Margaret Tait.
Finally heading to our exhibition Tacita Dean: Woman with a Red Hat, an exhibition which examines performance and its relationship to narrative, the imagination and the collective effort of artist and audience in film, theatre, drawing and photogravure followed by an intimate musical performance from ST.MARTiiNS.
