Curated by Gijs van Tuyl (Visual Arts Office for Abroad, Amsterdam) and Wouter Kotte (Director of Hedendaagse Kunst, Utrecht) this exhibition of work by Dutch painters was concerned with ‘the relationship between reality, representation and abstraction’, as van Tuyl wrote in the introduction to the catalogue.
