Beck’s Futures was established in 2000 as an annual prize and exhibition which aimed to identify, recognise and support emerging artists at an early stage in their careers.

The exhibition included work by Shahin Afrassiabi, Fabienne Audéoud, John Russell, Simon Bill, David Burrows, Brian Griffiths, Dan Holdsworth, Gemma Iles, DJ Simpson, Clare Woods, and Tim Stoner.

Originated with ICA (London). After The Fruitmarket Gallery it toured to Bluecoat Gallery (Liverpool), Sotheby’s (New York), and Laing Art Gallery (Newcastle).
