Our online archive dates back to the first exhibition at Fruitmarket in 1974 and includes exhibition details, installation images, downloadable documents, videos, and links to places where you can find out more information. We are digitising and adding information all the time to enrich this historical repository. If you can help us fill any gaps in our knowledge, please get in touch.
Archive room and Library
In our archive room we hold archival materials that date from 1984 onwards. This includes curatorial notes, press releases, press cuttings, leaflets, posters, slides, photographs and so on. Our ongoing cataloguing process means we are constantly discovering things. We welcome researchers to be part of this process of discovery.
We also have a small curatorial library available by appointment. Visit our library catalogue to browse our holdings.
