The Fruitmarket Gallery aims to make contemporary art accessible without compromising art or underestimating audiences, in order to do this, the Gallery presents world class thought provoking and challenging art made by both Scottish and international artists in an environment that is welcoming, engaging, informative and always free.
Funding
The Fruitmarket Gallery is a not-for-profit organisation and a charity (Scottish Charity Registration SC005576). The Gallery receives a revenue grant from The Scottish Arts Council of up to 70% of its running costs, but must raise over £170,000 this year towards its creative programme.
The Gallery’s creative programme includes exhibitions, commissions, interpretation education, publishing and podcasts. Gallery facilities include a website, a bookshop and café. The Gallery is physically accessible and family friendly.

Make a one off donation to support The Fruitmarket Gallery’s exhibition and education programme and help to support artists to make and present new work.
Donations can be placed in the donations box in the Gallery foyer, or can be made by cheque or credit card by contacting Armida Taylor

By completing a Gift Aid Declaration, you will enable The Fruitmarket Gallery to increase the value of your donation at no additional cost to you by reclaiming the tax already paid by you on that portion of your income. This means that for every £1 you donate, the Gallery can claim an additional 28p from HM Revenue & Customs making the donation up to £1.28.
