Each image, of a supernatural figure from Scotland’s past, is accompanied by writings from the Booker Prize nominated author James Robertson (The Testament of Gideon Mack, Joseph Knight). The book is further illustrated by installation photographs of the show, the artist’s preparatory drawings and pictures of the gunpowder work in progress.

Essays by Fiona Bradley, Yuko Hasegawa and by the artist himself are also included. A must for collectors, scholars and fans of Guo-Qiang’s work.
