Product Description

Simon Patterson High Noon, 2005
Framed photographic prints Edition of 50 each, signed by the artist 32 x 27.5 x 3cm

High Noon is a still from Patterson’s film of the same name and Manned Flight documents the artist’s man-lifting kite marooned in a tree in Edinburgh’s Princes Street Gardens. A complex manipulation of systems of classification, documentation, description and understanding, his work urges us to reconsider how and why we think we know what we know.

About the artist Simon Patterson studied at Goldsmiths College, London from 1985 to 1989. In 1988, the artist took part in the now famous Freeze exhibition. He was nominated for the Turner Prize in 1996, and in 1997 was part of the Sensation exhibition that travelled from the Royal Academy of Arts, London to the Brooklyn Museum, New York. He has had solo shows in major museums throughout Europe, America, and Japan.
P&P: £30.00 UK, £85 Europe, £105 Rest of World.
