Fresh Fruit: Teens for 12–15 year olds
4–6pm. 12 places for 12–15 year olds. Book via Eventbrite Explore Jacqueline Donachie’s exhibition in a series of workshops using a variety of materials, techniques and discussion activities, led and supported by trained Fresh Fruit Leaders and artist Louise Fraser. Each workshop is unique and will include drawing, performance, sculpture and installation art.

Book via Eventbrite A fun family craft workshop with the opportunity to explore the exhibition and create festive baubles using a variety of materials including papier-maché, balloons and balls of different shapes and sizes inspired by Donachie’s artwork, led by artist Juliana Capes.

In the workshop Artist Louise Fraser will explore themes, ideas and materials in Jacqueline Donachie’s exhibition. February’s workshop is entitled Temple of Youth and will be an immersive morning exploring sound and music through art.

Sat 17 Mar, 10–11am. Free. Book via Eventbrite From the creators of the bestselling Skye the Puffling, Lynne Rickards will be joining us to read from the delightful Rowan the Red Squirrel. Set in the Scottish Highlands and featuring some of Scotland’s most famous wildlife, it’s a tale sure to entertain both children and adults alike. The reading will be followed by craft activities. This forms part of Literary Littles, The Frutimarket Gallery's fun book group for children aged 3–7.

Artist Louise Fraser leads this workshop which explores themes, ideas and materials within our Lee Lozano exhibition Slip Slide Splice. You will make paintings that merge forms, working from faces and everyday tools. Experiment with techniques and materials including slime!
